Coconut Milk Retort, UHT and Chilled Route Comparison

Choose the package and distribution route before assigning the thermal equipment.

Map the three different package boundaries

A chilled route includes a defined product treatment, hygienic filling, cooling and refrigerated distribution. Retort treats the closed filled package. UHT aseptic processing treats product before protected transfer and compatible aseptic filling. These are alternative process boundaries, not interchangeable machine labels.

Test the actual recipe and package

For each candidate route, record composition, package/closure, treatment history, cooling and sample storage. Compare appearance and emulsion behaviour using matched sampling conditions. The appropriate process and validation responsibilities must be established for the actual product.

Request a connected offer

State who supplies filling, closures, sterile transfer where applicable, cooling and utilities. Capacity must use the same finished-product and operating-time basis for comparison. Ask for the proposed acceptance records rather than an unsupported shelf-life statement.
