Inlet

What it receives

Milk or formulated product with defined temperature, fat, solids and particle limits.

Outlet

What it delivers

Product assessed against agreed droplet, texture and separation criteria.

Structure and line connections

Review inlet pressure, homogenizing stages, valve arrangement and whether the machine is before or after the thermal boundary. Downstream UHT placement requires an aseptic-compatible arrangement.

Cleaning and inspection interface

Review product-side seals, valve access, cleaning flow and the validated cleaning sequence. When inside an aseptic boundary, sterilization and sterile barriers require separate evidence.

Selection data to specify

Project data required before confirming a model
DecisionInformation needed
Sample basisRecipe, fat, viscosity versus temperature and heat history
Trial variablesStage arrangement, pressure range, inlet conditions and sample method
Line integrationUpstream/downstream location, flow control and aseptic boundary

Application limits

Pressure alone does not guarantee stability or shelf life. Formulation, heat exposure and packaging must be evaluated with the selected arrangement.

Trial and acceptance evidence

Compare treated samples after the intended heat process and storage assessment. Record the test method and acceptance window rather than relying on a fresh visual sample.
