Starting material

Existing coconut milk

Use a measured milk specification, not a nut-throughput figure. Review fat, solids, viscosity, previous heat exposure and storage conditions.

Purchase the milk specification

Provide fat, total solids, viscosity with measurement conditions, particle limits and prior heat history. Assess variation between deliveries before fixing a downstream operating envelope.

Do not duplicate the front end

Shell handling, kernel cutting and pressing are not included in this starting scope. A delivered-milk quality requirement can still justify a separate coarse-solids check or filtration assessment.

Focus the new investment

Review composition adjustment, ingredient mixing, emulsion duty, transfer and preservation/packaging. Confirm compatibility with any equipment the plant already owns.

Your line, from the right starting point

Three decisions. One clear boundary.

Cleaning support (separate from the product path): Cleaning circuit interface

  • Extraction is outside this supply boundary. Confirm the delivered milk specification and prior heat treatment.
  • Thermal treatment and packaging remain open interfaces until product, package and distribution requirements are agreed.
  • This is a scope discussion, not a final equipment schedule. Homogenization duty and placement must be confirmed with product trials.

Discuss the existing coconut milk boundary

Send the material you receive, the product you want and the packaging boundary. Add measurements where available.
