Start with the operating envelope
Provide room dimensions, floor loading constraints, access doors, drains, service heights and maintenance clearance. Include the largest removable cutter or press component, not only the outer machine footprint.
Name the services at the point of use
Record electricity, water, heating, cooling and compressed-air conditions where each module connects. Specify who supplies utility treatment, distribution, drainage and insulation. Simultaneous loads need a documented basis.
Plan routine interventions
Ask for blade, seal, screen and wear-part schedules tied to actual duty. Determine safe access and isolation for each intervention. Spare-part identification should use the final bill of materials, not a photograph or a generic equipment name.
Commission in defined stages
Check installation, instruments and control handshakes before product trials. Then test the agreed feed, recipe and package combinations. Keep site acceptance criteria separate from future production targets that have not yet been demonstrated.
