Structure and line connections
Select the cutting geometry, feed arrangement and discharge path against the press inlet. Review overload protection, blade access and the effect of cut-size variation on pressing.
Cleaning and inspection interface
Agree on safe blade removal, interlocks, accessible product pockets and a verified cleaning method. CIP coverage cannot be assumed for a cutter that requires dismantling.

Application limits
Finer is not automatically better: particle preparation must suit the selected extraction and coarse-fibre separation arrangement.
Trial and acceptance evidence
Compare feed and discharge samples across the run. Check blade wear, retained product and the consistency of feed to the press rather than only unloaded speed.
