Start with the equipment boundary
Whole-coconut, prepared-kernel and delivered-milk projects need different front ends. List each included duty and any existing equipment to be retained. State who supplies pumps, piping, controls and cleaning connections.
Compare the complete packaging route
A retort proposal needs container, closure and loading interfaces; a UHT aseptic proposal needs a compatible sterile path and filler. Compare the actual package and validation responsibilities rather than treating these routes as equivalent machine lists.
Separate price from unresolved assumptions
Ask each supplier to identify models, rated conditions, installation boundaries, required utilities and exclusions. A generic website price cannot replace this assessment, and an omitted interface can change the scope after equipment is chosen.
