Separate product water from service water
Water used in extraction and formulation becomes part of the product mass balance. Washing, cleaning and cooling are different duties. State water quality, supply conditions and drain routing for each proposed interface.
Match utilities to the chosen thermal route
Request model-specific heating, cooling and other service requirements for the intended operating envelope. A chilled, retort or UHT aseptic route cannot be assigned one common utility figure from a generic line description.
Include cleaning and physical access
Provide layout constraints, drainage information, maintenance access and the existing cleaning arrangement. Review which equipment needs dismantling and which circuits can be included in a defined CIP programme.
