Structure and line connections

A preparation station may combine manual handling and dedicated shell-removal or paring equipment. State which operation is included, its guarding arrangement and the handoff to washing.

Cleaning and inspection interface

Separate shell-side debris handling from exposed food-contact surfaces. Ask how blades, supports and catch trays are reached for inspection; do not label an open preparation station as a closed CIP circuit.

Application limits

Prepared kernel projects skip this station. Coconut water collected here is not coconut milk and needs its own handling specification.

Trial and acceptance evidence

Run representative nuts and record intact-kernel recovery, visible shell carryover, handling effort and reject reasons. A machine count does not define the line rate.
